School Council

School Council

Foxfield School Council is group of students who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve the school.

Elections are open to all and a new council is elected each autumn. The council comprises of twelve pupils and each Key Stage has four representatives.

Pupils with a diagnosis of autism are always well represented by council members with autism themselves, giving them a voice and representation within the School.

During the academic year the school council meet as a group, visit other schools, fundraise and attend the Merseyside School Council event at Liverpool Town Hall. This gives pupils with autism opportunities to try new things and spend time with pupils throughout the school and in other schools in a safe, supportive environment.
